Let’s go, activewear bra!
No longer do you need to choose between a sports bra and a crop top. Made from recycled water bottles, Topanga has a high-neck, a low back, and adjustable criss-cross straps that keep everything in place.
Finally an x that won’t let you down…
A plastic water bottle can take up to 500 years to decompose. Each bra diverts 10 bottles from landfills and contains 79% RPET and 21% spandex. To take care of them, machine wash cold with similar colours and line dry flat
Husband and wife Ellie and Quang Dinh founded Girlfriend Collective after spotting a gap in the market for luxurious, responsibly produced activewear. Using fabrics made from recycled water bottles, fishing nets and other plastic waste, the brand designs high-performance leggings, tops and sports bras using eco-friendly dyes.
Did you know?
Almost all synthetic activewear is made from plastic? Girlfriend Collective make theirs with materials that would otherwise clog landfills and pollute the earth. It all starts with 100% post-consumer water bottles that have their labels removed, are crushed into billions of miniscule chips, and then washed until they’re sparkling clean
After a bunch of science stuff with names like “polymerization,” you get a soft, recycled yarn that eliminates the need for petroleum and diverts water bottles from landfills.
